Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has officially announced a significant recruitment drive for the law enforcement officer careers under the Finance Department. Eligibility & Educational Requirements

The PRA is looking for candidates with a strong academic background in specific technical fields. Applicants must possess one of the following:

  1. Professional Certifications: ACCA (Member/Affiliate), Chartered Accountant (CA), or LLB.

  2. Academic Degrees: MBA, MPA, B.Com (Hons), or a BS (4 Years) in Public Administration, Accounting & Finance, or Management (at least 2nd Division).


Age Limit & Relaxations

As per the Government of Punjab's policy, the following age limits apply:

  • Male Candidates: 25 to 35 years + 5 years general relaxation = 40 Years.

  • Female Candidates: 25 to 35 years + 8 years general relaxation = 43 Years.

  • Domicile: Punjab (All Districts).


Written Examination Syllabus

The selection process consists of a single paper MCQ-type Written Test of 100 marks (90 minutes duration). The syllabus is divided into two key segments:

  • Core Qualification Subjects (80%): * Accounting, Finance, and Auditing principles.

    • Sales Tax Act 2012 (Specifically relating to Sales Tax on Services). Understanding this act is crucial for the Enforcement role.

  • General Ability (20%): * General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science, and Basic Computer Studies.
