How to Apply Through FIA Job Portal (Step-by-Step)
According to the official guidelines from the Ministry of Interior, candidates must follow this specific online procedure to ensure their application is accepted:
Step 1: Initial Registration
Visit the official FIA recruitment link: recruitment.fia.gov.pk.
Fill out the registration form which consists of three main sections: Personal Information, Login Credentials, and Code Verification.
In the Personal Information section, enter your Full Name, Father’s Name, CNIC number, and active Mobile Number.
Step 2: Setting Login Credentials
Enter a valid Email Address (Note: The official guide recommends avoiding Yahoo Email; use Gmail or Outlook for better compatibility).
Set and confirm your login password. Your password must be a combination of:
Capital and small alphabets.
At least one special symbol (e.g., @, #, $).
Numeric digits.
Enter the security code displayed on the screen and click the Submit button.
Step 3: Accessing the Profile Page
Log in using your newly created credentials.
Complete the Code Verification before entering the portal.
Once logged in, you will be redirected to your dashboard, which contains tabs for Basic Information, Upload Profile Pic, Education, and Apply Online.
Step 4: Filling Detailed Information
Basic Information: Fill in sub-sections including your Address, Security Clearance details, and other personal data.
Other Information: In this section, select your Gender, Religion, Date of Birth, and choose your preferred Written Test Center and Physical Test Center.
Age Relaxation: If you are within the standard age limit, select the "No Claim" option. If you are eligible for relaxation (e.g., Government servant or minority quota), select the appropriate category from the dropdown menu and be ready to provide justification during the interview.
Step 5: Final Submission
Upload a clear profile picture as per the size requirements.
Enter your educational history accurately.
Click on the "Apply Online" tab, select the specific post (e.g., Constable, SI, or Assistant), and submit your application.
